Minstrels are considered to be one of the most versatile and useful character classes in the Lord of the Rings Online. The minstrel class is very special in that they can do a large quantity of cool stuff within the game. Minstrels are not only a very good support character class for a party, but also have the ability to solo equally well, thanks to their deadly damaging shouts and supportive skills (particularly healing ones).
Unlike all other classes in the game, song plays such a crucial role for this minstrel class in destroying opponents. They always rely on song to attack enemies instead of using many destructive weapons, such as swords, axes, hammers and arrows commonly wielded by the rest of other races. Using music and tale to guide them to a victory on all the battlefields across the Middle-earth, minstrels have the amazing and special abilities to take a full advantage of beneficial songs to buff party members and harmful songs to de-buff their foes.
The unmatched musical talents can still make them sing ballads which help them unlock higher level, with the ability to play the widest variety of musical instruments. Despite being able to use weapons so easily, they have a preference to almost entirely reply on her words for attacking enemies rather than their weapons. The minstrel is the absolutely perfect class for players who wish to give their helping hands to their suffering friends in order to inspire them to successfully go through even the hardest times.
