Like any other MMORPGs on the MMO market, you must have an account to gain an access to the LotRO game. The Lord of the Ring Online: Shadows of Angmar will definitely require its players to open an account for playing the game.
After buying the game package, you will receive a login information consisting of a user name and a password to create your own account and you will also be able to manage your account in the section called account management in which you can modify or change all the information and details about yourself.
Before entering to play the game, you will be required to manage your own game account by filling in user login/details to log in to play and in case you have lost or forgotten your password, just enter your email in the section of Forget Password to have a new password sent to you.
