The Lord of the Rings Online (aka LotRO) has also a very useful profession or skill for all its players in the game that is the metalsmith. Besides the well-documented fact that it is rated as a primary Production Profession, the metalsmith profession has been highly popular and desirable all MMORPGs of all time as well as in LOTRO because it is a skill that contributes to several players in many great ways.
Players who choose to take up this much-needed profession (known as a metalsmith) will be able to learn and train all necessary skills to produce a huge collection of many superb weapons through metal, for instance, if very skillful enough, they can create heavy armor, daggers, swords, bows, arrows, shields, hammers and other metal protections. On top of that there are still many more unique weapons and other practical armaments that cannot be found on any of the monsters or vendors in the LotRO game, but can only be created by the metalsmith.
This metalsmith profession or skill is always in high demand for all the four races in the game consisting of Men, Dwarf, Elf, and Hobbit who really need to depend on their weapons in combat or on the battlefields. Strong shields and armor produced by using metal are the metalsmith's most special features. Even if their first products may seem to be a simple production, ultimately their metalworking skills will somehow enable them to delicately create fantastic metal products of finer materials and greater designs. |
