The second playable race available to players for their selection in the Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar which is currently another MMORPG on the market is the Elf one. The elves in LotRO are specially designed to be a shadowy and immortal being just like its massively multiplayer strategy-based predecessor (World of Warcraft). Tall, robust, agile, nimble, shrewed and graceful by nature, the Elves have an intimate proclivity for the beauty of the natural world surrounding them.
Several ages ago, the elves gave a warm welcome to the younger races of Middle-earth, forging a strong and close alliance with them when the need skyrocketed, but traumatic centuries of a long series of war, conflict, violence, betrayal, and hardship have forced them to fiercely protect of their seclusion and expel all the enemies invading their territory.
Nowadays, when the Third Age is near a close and the War of the Ring is approaching, the elves are once again jumping out of their forested and hidden places, tightly allying with the Free Peoples of Middle-earth to fight against the darkness which covers from both the North and East. Due to these wars and crises, the elves were scattered into many different groups, and settled throughout Middle-earth.
These five playable classes comprising Champion, Guardian, Hunter, Lore-master and Minstrel will be available to players who makes a choice of this elf race. The elves who starts their exciting adventure in Tower Hills has a wide variety of exceptional passive skills to choose from, such as Agility of the Woods, Fading of the Firstborn, Sorrow of the Firstborn and Suffer no Illness, while an exciting list of their very special abilities gifted from racial traits to vanquish all enemies are Enmity of the Goblins Enmity of the Orcs Enmity of Drakes.
