Hobbits are also one of the four playable races that game players can choose and play in The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar which is set to make its debut around later this March. Hobbits in LotRO are generally viewed as the kings and queens who live the simple life of their own. In an anatomical aspect, hobbits are more closely similar to men than both dwarves or elves. All of them are clearly short, diminutive, stout people who stand between 2 and 4 feet tall only, They have an average height of 3 feet and 6 inches and have a group of very remarkable points in their organs.
Their ears are slightly pointed upwards, while the soles of hobbits feet are tough like leathers, and their tops are covered with thick, curly brown hair, exactly like the hair on their heads. Even though they bear lots of similarities to Men, hobbits have much longer life span than men. Strong and dependable when called into battle, hobbits can live their life as long as between 100 and 130 years of age. Another thing that make them differ from Men is that they come out of age at 21, while hobbits come of age at 33.
For their profession, Hobbits are merchants and farmers who have a smooth lifestyle of comfort and leisure. Normally they are sociable and enjoy eating tons of food. In a day, hobbits enjoy the consumption of a minimum of 6 meals consisting of breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, tea, lunch, and supper. Besides habitually liking to take in foods, they prefer to stay at home, not generally tend to travel or adventure like all other races. Despite being adventurous by nature, a majority of hobbits reside in holes in the earth called Smials. Hobbit holes are warm and inviting and not cold and dark like any other ones.
